Juggling a family, a blog, work commitments, not to mention a TV show and everything in between means sometimes I just need to take some time out and recharge my batteries. We recently took our first family holiday to Broome in Western Australia and had such a lovely, relaxing time. We stayed at the amazing Cable Beach Resort for a few days and did everything from visiting the local markets to shopping for pearls and enjoying all the great restaurants nearby. We even fit in time to ride a camel! Here’s a peek at what we got up to on our trip.

The lovely QANTAS crew invited us to check out the cockpit. It was Sophia’s very first plane ride!

I still can’t get over how picture perfect Broome is.

Desert on one side, ocean on the other. This blew us away!

So relaxing. This was one of my fave moments during the holiday.

Have you been to Broome? What did you think?

Soooooo nice to see these pictures of Broome! I miss this place. A price of my heart belongs to Broome. I have been there many times and even took a 12 month respite from the world and lived there. A wonderful community and source of endless natural beauty. After seeing this post I desperately want to return! The Cable beach club always offer wonderful hospitality, did u manage to check out sun cinemas? How about Gantheum point?

      Hi Sechy,
Unfortunately I didn’t get a chance this trip to see the sun cinemas and Gantheum point but I did it last time and absolutely loved it. Such an amazing place. Your 12 month respite there must have been an incredible experience!
