Say hello to Marks & Spencer in Australia!

I have been going to London since I was little and one of my fondest memories is going into Marks & Spencer. It’s a one-stop shop so we would go in there to stock up on everything from clothes to homewares and food and even basics such as thermals if we were on a skiing trip. These days nothing much has changed. I still buy basics from M&S but I’m now also buying kids’ clothes too! I think there’s something immensely satisfying about being able to buy quality basics at a reasonable price. So you can imagine how excited I was to discover that M&S now have a dedicated Australian store that ships Down Under. Not only is shipping free if you spend over $50, they also offer express delivery in 4-6 days and do local returns. Oh and you can pay in Aussie dollars, too.

Such a momentous occasion of course had to be celebrated so I was thrilled to be asked to officially welcome the brand into Australia alongside Nadia Fairfax and Bec Judd. The launch took place at a gorgeous mansion in Sydney’s Woollahra which was transformed into what I can only describe as a an interactive M&S catalogue come to life. A group of bloggers and influencers were invited to tour the house which had been decked out with M&S products, some of which had been personally curated by Bec, Nadia and myself. We all chose our favourite items of clothing but I also chose homewares, while Nadia did a sports wear edit and and Bec focussed on kids’ clothes. It was a tough job trying to only pick a few pieces to showcase in the house as the range is so extensive but we managed somehow! Want to see how it turned out? See below to check the house out for yourself (plus find out what’s on my M&S shopping list):

What’s on my M&S shopping list?

It was really hard to narrow it down but this is currently what’s at the top of my wish list:

This cushion is a great statement-making piece for any living room (mine most definitely included).

My kitchen will soon have a new addition. Namely this. A must for keeping bread fresh for longer.

I love breakfasts in bed and this may just inspire me to do it more.

I just can’t get enough of marble as a decorative element and this is a great piece to have around the house. This one too!

Beds. They need to be spoilt with linen like this. The only danger is I may just end up wanting to spend the entire day snuggled up under the covers!

      Hi Armine,
While it’s possible to order from Marks and Spencer in Australia, unfortunately there’s no actual bricks and mortar store. Hope you enjoy your stay!
