What I Wore: A place in the sun

26th April, 2017

The weather’s been so unseasonably mild in Sydney the last few days that I’ve been making the most of it by utilising some of my fave summery pieces. I figure I’ll be rugged up in layers soon enough! This Bec & Bridge dress is the perfect easy, effortless piece due to its streamlined silhouette and I’m a big fan of anything in a crisp white as it instantly looks polished and pulled together. I find neutrals and metallics work beautifully with white so I have paired this dress with my Gucci heels to give my outfit a touch of colour. I love accessories with a point of difference and was drawn to this half crescent raffia clutch by Helen Kaminski due to its interesting shape and texture. Striking the right balance of wearing bold accessories that help elevate the look without overwhelming the simplicity of the dress is key in this instance and is the perfect time to remember that less is definitely more.
