Nicole Trunfio walking the show
Jean Paul Gaultier’s collaboration with Target was launched at VAMFF and it was a collection that was not only edgy and fun, the runway show was equally as entertaining. Nicole Trunfio and Samantha Harris walked the show and showed off pieces with some signature Gaultier touches including the conical bra style made famous by Madonna making an appearance (albeit subtly) on a pair of peach overalls and a padded bra (above) worn by Trunfio and a leather jacket (below) worn by Harris that has been a staple of the designer’s brand. The rest of the show showcased Target’s new season collection with Dannii Minogue, Sonia Kruger and Jess Mauboy walking the runway. The highlight of the evening was without a doubt Jess Mauboy singing three songs on the catwalk which really gave the show a party vibe. A thoroughly fun experience – and very fitting of a Gaultier show.
