I’m very excited that today I have been announced as the Australian Turf Club’s 2019 Autumn Racing Ambassador.
I’m thrilled to be working with the Australian Turf Club as their Autumn Racing Ambassador as I’ve grown up on the racetrack and have many special memories at Rosehill Gardens and Royal Randwick, so I’m so happy to promote something I’m passionate about.
I will be heading out to the track throughout the Longines Golden Slipper Carnival across three exciting weekends in March starting with Chandon S Ladies Day on Saturday, Longines Golden Slipper Day (23 March); and Stakes Day (30 March) and the prestigious The Championships at Royal Randwick on April 6 and 13.
I will also feature as a Harrolds Fashion Chute judge on April 6, and join the Seven Horse Racing team as a fashion and colour reporter throughout the carnival.
Racing and fashion go hand in hand and I can’t wait to see all the beautiful fashion’s and trends this season. This year’s Autumn Racing trends will see shades of blue, burgundy, and pink as well as strong neutrals, while voluminous, feminine dresses and structured suiting with waist belts and cinched in blazers should shine.
When it comes to headwear, felt hats, headbands or headpieces with artistic shapes, metallic and textures provides ample opportunity to get a balanced look from head to toe. I plan to do a racing fashion post soon so watch this space!
The Longines Golden Slipper Carnival starts this weekend which sees six elite weeks of Group 1 racing, fashion, and fun and in Sydney. For more information on Sydney Autumn Racing including all ticketing and early booking discounts visit theraces.com.au.
