If ever there was proof that French women are some of the most stylish in the world it’s in the form of Carine Roitfeld. The former editor-in-chief of Vogue Paris and the founder of magazine CR The Fashion Book never ever puts a designer-clad foot wrong. Roitfeld is a fan of sleek pencil skirts, silk blouses and sky high stilettos and is also the perfect example that an all black outfit is eternally chic. Her style is constantly fashion forward with her penchant for leather, striking prints, a gorgeous statement shoe and razor sharp tailoring. When I’m stuck for fashion inspiration, Roitfeld is one of me go-to women and I’m always on the look out for street style shots of her out and about and attending the shows. Très chic, indeed.
Proof that you can never go wrong with monochrome.
This printed flared midi-skirt adds a striking feature to this outfit.
One word: fierce.
You can never go wrong with a sexy LBD. The shoes just wrap up this look nicely.
The white stilettos are perfection with this all black ensemble.
A full length skirt worked back with a cropped shell top gives this formal look an edge.
Roifteld doesn’t often venture into neutrals but when she does it’s anything but ordinary.
You can never, ever go wrong with a sleek pencil skirt.
