Alice McCall showcased her Cruise 2014 collection ‘Les Galeries Des Poison’ on day three of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Australia. The German botanist illustrator Ernst Haekel and the Art Nouveau jewels of French artist René Jules Lalique inspired McCall. This season, McCall also explored elements of the ocean with a colour palette of softly washed tones of bone, seashell pink and sea blues. As an extension of the theme, models were styled with wet-look tangled ponytails and blue lashes. Here are some of my favourite looks from the runway.
