What I Wore This Week: Events Round-Up

2nd December, 2021

The festive season means lots of events so I’ve been busy playing dress up! I love this time of year precisely for that reason as it means being able to get dolled and catching up with friends and colleagues. I’ve had the full gamut of events lately, ranging from a black tie dress code, to something party-ready and a on-trend look for the launch of my Wanderluxe pyjama collaboration. Given it’s the time to embrace party dressing, I thought I’d share a few of my events over the past few weeks. It’s also highlighted just how great Aussie designers are with most of my outfits from a range of homegrown labels. I couldn’t be more proud to throw my support behind local talent. So, here’s a snapshot of a few of my events looks.

Luke and I went to a Moet and Chandon event this week which was black tie all the way. I love any excuse to get fully dressed up and this LBD by Louis Vuitton was the perfect outfit for such a glam occasion. The frilled neckline added a festive touch while my beyond adorable Miu Miu bag was the perfect piece to accompany me on a night out.

I’ve worn so many Anna Quan pieces over the years and I’ve always loved how she manages to combine beautiful tailoring with on trend, feminine silhouettes. This was at a recent launch to celebrate the brand and I adored this combination of a crisp white button down shirt worked back with a mini. It ticked all the boxes for me as it was polished but still had a very modern vibe to it.

I was so thrilled to be hosting the launch of my collaboration with sleepwear brand Wanderluxe and it called for a dress by one of my longtime fave designers, Camilla and Marc. This dusty apricot number was very fitting for the event as it felt dressy but without being too “done”. I’m also a fan of cut-out details, not to mention the open back detail which you definitely have to check out here.

Ahh Aje. I’ve lost count of the number of times I’ve worn one of their dresses. They’re always so good, and can always be relied upon to have a great silhouette, a flattering fit and so many special details that elevate them into something that makes you stop and good ‘ooh’. Plus these shoes, which feature a glam pearl trim are the party shoes I never knew I always needed.
