In the immortal words of The Devil Wears Prada’s Miranda Priestley: “Florals for spring? Groundbreaking.” And yes, while wearing floral prints at this time of year is admittedly hardly going to break new ground when it comes to fashion, there is something perfect about wearing beautiful, feminine prints during springtime.
And when there are so many gorgeous pieces to choose from, why not? I’ve rounded up some ultra pretty finds from dresses (including the one I’m wearing above) to accessories and casual pieces that are made for enjoying warmer days. Now all you have to do is embrace the beauty of springtime florals and prepare to inject a little romance and whimsy into your looks starting right now.

If there’s bold florals and a vibrant shade of pink, I’m there! This is the kind of ultra feminine dress that’s all kinds of fun to wear, not only because of it’s larger-than-life pink colour but also the finishing touches. Bec and Bridge certainly know how to produce a showstopper of a dress and this number is no exception with its puff sleeves, ultra flattering ruching and pretty sweetheart neckline. I’ve got this particular beauty bookmarked for event dressing, simply because it makes such a statement.
I wanted to continue the pink throughout the rest of my look so I opted for this metallic pink by Bottega Veneta. I always like to add unique pieces to my looks and loved the great hue and the geometric, fashion forward shape. It’s the ideal contrast piece to the softer, feminine feel of the dress. Meanwhile mesh heels, also by Bottega Veneta add another bold element while adding an on trend accoutrement to my look.
Spring is almost upon us and if there’s one thing I’m definitely planning to add to my wardrobe it’s a gorgeous floral dress. It’s virtually a must with the warmer weather to come and the natural shift to a lighter, breezier look that comes with it. I love this particular dress by Zimmermann because it ticks all the right boxes—the print is subtle yet striking whilst the gorgeous ruffle detail throughout elevates it by giving it an interesting silhouette and the tasseled tie detail adds a bohemian feel. I can see myself wearing this with flats for a casual event and by switching up the footwear to a pair of heels, it can work perfectly for a work event or a special occasion such as a wedding. It’s a versatile piece that I know will definitely have plenty of outings over the next few months.
