When it comes to easy outfit options I can’t go past a simple dress. This Maison du Maillot dress with its distinctive print and billowy sleeves can easily work with a pair of sneakers or sandals for day and a pair of heels by night. With such a busy pattern, I opted to keep my accessories to a minimum to allow the dress to take centre stage. On busy days, having a go-to outfit that I can easily throw on to get out the door fast is my little sartorial shortcut.

What I Wore: Maison du Maillot

I love discovering new brands and recently I found this top and skirt set from Maison du Maillot which I can see myself getting plenty of use out of as a set or worn separately and paired with either a simple tee or cami or a plain skirt. I was particularly drawn to the two-tone print and the vibrant red colour. I love anything with unique finishes and the relaxed bohemian style of the shirt with its fringe trim and lace-up collar and the knot detailing on the skirt really elevate each piece into something that can make a statement. And the best bit? Maison du Maillot do free worldwide delivery and returns so it’s the perfect time to find an outfit to wear throughout summer (I love this set, dress and playsuit) or the party season (New Year’s Eve is just around the corner after all!).
