What I Wore: Australian Fashion Week 2017 Day One

The first show of Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Australia was Dion Lee, and as a huge fan of his designs I wanted to show my support so opted for a sweater and pleated skirt from his label. I went for a full navy look but worked in different textures in order to break the outfit up and avoid the colour looking too overwhelming. Also the weather was quite cool so it was great to be in a knit to keep warm as the show took place outdoors on the Opera House forecourt. I wanted to wear statement jewellery to add some punch to my outfit so opted for rose gold earrings and a smattering of cocktail rings. My Bulgari bag was also in navy so was in keeping with the colour palette of the day, whilst the Mimco bag/wallet added a touch of colour. And of course one of my favourite Alaïa heels had to cap off the look and my round frame Miu Miu sunglasses added a touch of fun to my ensemble. Bring on the rest of the week!

What I Wore: Bell Curve

Myerkate-30What I love most about this By Johnny dress is the cute bell sleeve detail and the grey marle fabric which gives it an interesting finishing touch. The neoprene fabric is also ideal for accommodating a bump but I love the fact it’s still quite structured and makes for a great silhouette. To give the look a playful touch I teamed it with my circle glasses from Miu Miu and dressed up the look with my favourite nude Gianvito Rossi heels. I kept the rest of my accessories quite simple with my Christian Paul watch and a sweet candy pink clutch by The Daily Edited.
