What I Wore: Queen Elizabeth Stakes Day

16th April, 2019

Having one of my all time favourite designers make me a custom piece to wear to the Queen Elizabeth Stakes Day was such a privilege. I’m a huge fan of Camilla and Marc and have been for a long time so to get to wear something that was especially made for me was so exciting.

I’ve always loved the look and feel of Camilla and Marc’s blazers so I decided on having a cream tweed suit made. The double breasted jacket and cropped trousers evoked a classic feel, whilst the tweed added a cool weather vibe that was ideal for an autumn racing event. To give the suit some added shape, I decided to belt it with a wide burgundy waist belt to cinch it in and also add a statement piece to my outfit.

As far as my accessories went I decided on burgundy heels to match the colour of the belt and a padded cream headband, which I think worked well with my brand new, shorter hairstyle.

This suit is without a doubt one of my favourite new additions to my wardrobe. I’m already looking forward to the next time I’m able to give it another outing. I’m sure it won’t be long.
