What I Wore: The Royal Hospital for Women luncheon

6th December, 2018

Amongst all the festive season events I’ve had of late it was nice to be able to attend a charity luncheon at Sydney’s Bistro Moncur. It’s an annual fundraiser which raises much needed funds for the Royal Hospital for Women and it was such a lovely way to spend an afternoon. Along with enjoying a beautiful lunch guests were able to try on some phenomenal jewellery by jeweller Matthew Ely, along with the opportunity to win an amazing 14ct aquamarine and diamond ring valued at $31,000.

It’s always nice to be able to dress up for such an event and I wanted something to wear something quite soft and pretty. I opted for a pink patterned dress by Thurley which incorporated some beautiful ruffled details and a subtle split. It was feminine with a modern silhouette which  I think really suited the occasion.

I kept the rest of my look quite neutral with beige heels by Bottega Veneta and a white Bvlgari structured bag. Keeping the rest of my outfit’s colour palette quite muted allowed the dress to take centre stage.

With over $155,000 raised on the day, it was a successful fundraiser for a much beloved hospital in Sydney doing incredible research and providing much-needed services for women and infants.
