I have a thing for sunglasses. I’ve built up quite the collection because I’ve found they’re one of the easiest ways to switch up an outfit or lift an otherwise quite subdued ensemble. My go-to style definitely has to be anything that makes a statement—an interesting frame, a coloured lens, or fun embellishments always catch my eye. I often change my sunglasses like I do my bags or shoes and consider them to be an integral part of an overall look. Over summer a pair of great sunglasses is a definite must and there’s no better season to push fashion boundaries as far as your eyewear goes so if you want to try a unique shape or vibrant shade then go on and take the plunge. Also, with so many sales at this time of year, it’s a great time to snap up a pair of sunnies. I always make a point of shopping around for any pairs I have my eye on during this period as I know I might be able to grab them at a discounted price.
