Fashion, What I Wore

What I Wore: Golden Girl

20th November, 2020

You can’t get more summer than a crisp white dress and this Anna Quan dress manages to amalgamate fashion forward design without losing the light and bright nature of summer dressing. I also love the nod to traditional suiting with the split sleeves and oversized cuffs. While the cut-outs are a statement feature that elevates this dress into a look that’s modern and elegant.

The great thing about a white dress is that it’s essentially a blank canvas, and you can have a lot of fun with bold accessories. This quilted Tods bag is like sunshine. The vibrant marigold yellow is just the right hit of colour to really lift this look and the shoes in the same hue, really tie the look together while at the same time adding points of interest to my overall ensemble. I went for a classic pair of tortoiseshell sunglasses to add the final finishing touch. It’s a simple piece with understated elegance, and when it comes to summer ensembles, a great pair of sunnies is a must.
