One of my favourite things to do at this time of year is snuggle up in a cosy knit. And right now, even more so. They’re a constant in my wardrobe during autumn and winter and have found them to be a really versatile piece that can be dressed up or down. Also knits are so easy to incorporate into a work from home look, and instantly look polished without compromising on comfort—because we all know a good WFH outfit ultimately comes down to being comfy.
With so many different styles on offer, and different fabrications too, I’ve found myself gravitating towards relaxed knits in natural fabrics such as cashmere and wool, particularly the latter as the wool in Australia is such a beautiful quality. I’ve also been favouring blouson sleeves, so anything with a little volume to add an interesting design feature. It’s also one of the comfiest silhouettes to wear when it comes to knits.
To help get you started on your quest for the ideal autumn/winter/iso knit, I’ve rounded up a few options at various price points for you to check out. So whether you want to splurge and go for a totally luxe designer piece, or a knit from a homegrown brand, I’ve got you covered.
