If there’s one accessory I love it’s sunglasses. Sunnies are often always one of the final finishing touches to my outfits on a daily basis and I love changing things up and embracing different styles. I don’t think I’ve ever met a frame style I didn’t like. What I love about sunglasses is that I can always tailor it to my mood—a sleek black cat eye when I’m wearing something polished one minute, while a pair of gold rimmed RayBans add a cool touch to any outfit the next. I’m also not averse to embracing bold pops of colour, from pink to blue to white, a pair of sunglasses can always make or break a look.
Luckily for a sunnies fan like me, there are so many fun and playful styles this season. There’s the ultra bold ‘Inflated’ sunnies by Loewe which walk the line between slightly comedic and ultra fashion forward with a hint of marshmallow vibes. Loewe’s 80s inspired square frame sunnies resembling the much beloved Viewmaster toy of all children of a 1980s vintage, and a flower shaped pair of bottle green frames come a close second. Saint Laurent’s Lou Lou sunnies have always been a slightly irreverent choice when it comes to frames, while these cat eye Bottega frames in the brand’s signature green are one way to really make a statement.
So, if you’re looking for a way to liven up a look without having to do much at all then you definitely need to turn to your choice of sunglasses this season.
