I recently had the opportunity to shoot in the most picturesque of locations at the Emirates One&Only Wolgan Valley located in Sydney’s Blue Mountains. The surrounds are simply spectacular. Nestled amongst mountains and lush green valleys, it provided the perfect backdrop and I knew I wanted to do a shoot wearing something with just the right amount of drama to work against the natural and raw surroundings.
Enter this black Toni Maticevski gown. The construction is simply beautiful. With its cascading ruffle, the deep V in the back, coupled with an off the shoulder neckline, it had all the theatre I was after.
With such a dress as the focal point of this look I knew I needed to keep the rest of my outfit simple. I opted for a sleek pair of Gianvito Rossi heels. Minimalist and the perfect complementary piece for a statement gown.
