Pops of colour are one of my shortcuts to lifting my mood and also injecting a little energy into an outfit. This candy pink longline blazer by Aje is one such piece as the colour just screams fun. I love this particular look as it maintains an element of polish but still has a relaxed, playful sensibility to it. I’ve always found blazers to be a great way to lift a pair of casual jeans, and this particular combination, paired with boyfriend style Camilla and Marc denim strikes the right note for a work look or lunch with friends.
I opted to wear the blazer cinched in at the waist with a belt so I could wear it as a top as opposed to a jacket. It’s one way to really increase the versatility of a piece and gives a blazer a slightly different look and feel.
With such a striking colour already in play I wanted to keep the rest of my accessories quite pared back. In this instance simple monochrome Chanel flats help give this look an elevated feel without looking overdone.
