I’ve been a longtime fan of Gucci and the one thing the brand can always be relied upon is to produce beautiful accessories. To celebrate the brand’s flagship Castlereagh Street store in Sydney reopening, they have released this limited edition Sydney tote. And it just screams summer with its vibrant colour palette and textured finish. Tote bags are a constant in my wardrobe, simply because as a mum, I’m often having to cart around my essentials along with the girls’ and having something that’s crafted beautifully and will stand up to daily wear and tear is always high on my list. This bag does just that, while still having a high fashion feel.
I love having wardrobe shortcuts for those days when I just want an easy outfit and maxi dresses are always a go-to. They require minimal effort and I always feel polished and put together whenever I have one on. I think it’s why over the years I’ve managed to cultivate a healthy collection of dresses as they’re such a key staple and can be dressed up or down in myriad ways. This Gucci dress is ultra special with its monogram print, but what I love most is the attention to detail. The simple tie around the waist, the pleated skirt and shirt-style top all work together and achieve a dress that’s destined for many an outing.
