What I Wore: Flowerflax x Camilla Christmas Lunch

3rd December, 2020

I attended a Christmas soiree hosted by my good friend Nadia Fairfax and beloved Aussie brand Camilla last month and it was a sixties soiree that had me embracing my inner flower child. I saw this shift dress by Camilla and it was perfection for the event. I’ve always loved shift dresses as they’re a great silhouette to work on a petite frame, and the print on this is all kinds of fun. The vibrant colours and striking print are a great way to make a bold statement. But a shift is is also an easy option for a day out or enjoying a long lazy lunch.

With such a knockout print I knew I had to keep the rest of my look quite simple and streamlined for balance. So I went with a pair of cat eye Le Specs sunglasses, and a pair of gold hoop earrings to accentuate this outfit, without taking away from the dress. It’s just the right marriage between playful and elegant—my formula for most outfits I wear, but more so for any event dressing I do.
