Fashion, What I Wore

What I wore (not) working from home

16th July, 2020

We’re taking a family break this week so it’s also a pause on my working from home looks. As we’re holidaying in Port Douglas I’m loving being able to embrace a few new summery looks and revisit a few fave pieces. Plus not having to be in knits and coats has been a welcome reprieve. There’s just something about being in lightweight linen and lots of floaty ensembles that instantly brings on the holiday vibe. So here’s what I wore (not) working from home this week.

I’ve been living in these gorgeous Henne tanks all week. I’ve got them in different colours so I’ve just been rotating them with different bottoms, giving them a tick in the versatility/holiday wardrobe box. I paired this top with linen pants and a roomy raffia Loewe tote to carry all my holiday essentials.

I love embracing vibrant prints whenever I’m on holiday. These easy breezy wide leg pants are perfect for warm weather and paired with a tank and a summery tote, it’s such an easy laidback look.

This bias cut skirt is such a gorgeous shade of green and perfect for going out to dinner. I opted for another Henne tank and simple sandals. I don’t really like to fuss around with heels or anything too dressy when I’m holiday, so this is a great marriage of polished yet relaxed dressing.

Who else loves a matching set? I packed these because not only do they work together but they’re easily paired back with other pieces which means I can get multiple outfits out of them. I try to avoid overpacking where possible and being able to guarantee that I can wear two pieces in several ways makes it easier.

One piece swimsuits are my go-to. I also love the fact they can be worn as a top, enabling me to get multiple wears out of them. I wore this with a printed wrap, and added a few textural elements via my hat and bag.
