Fashion, What I Wore

What I Wore: Sun and Sand

7th February, 2023

With style names like ‘Sun’ and ‘Sand’, this look by Sofia Irina was always going to be made for summer. I’ve been fully embracing tailored pants of late as I’ve found them to be a great building block to build a polished look. Plus it’s easy to dress them up or down, with either heels or flats. I’m really loving the light terracotta hue of the ‘Sun’ pant as it’s not a shade you see all that often and it offers a little point of difference. I’ve found the ‘Sun’ top to be a good piece to have in my closet, as the silk/cotton blend is supremely comfortable, but also looks quite put together with whatever I pair it with. I don’t think you can ever go wrong with a white shirt, and I love the sleeveless style of this one.

I like the freshness of the white worked back against the light terracotta so I opted for white accessories too. These Aje heels have been such a worthwhile addition to my wardrobe. They’ve been tried and tested with a variety of different looks and are so versatile. To keep the lightness consistent, I also decided on a white Aje bag. The woven bag has a great summery vibe and the texture adds a layer of interest to this outfit. As most of you know, sunglasses are always a must for me so these pink frames by Le Specs were a final addition to complete the entire ensemble, but also to add another hint of colour.
