Fashion, What I Wore

What I wore this week

23rd March, 2023

Another week, another outfit round up! So, where to start? Summer is still well and truly hanging on so I’ve been making the most of it by wearing a few different warm weather pieces. Also I’ve been enjoying incorporating a few trendy pieces into my looks, from cut out tops to bustier detailing and tailored elements. Here’s what I wore this week.

Layering neutrals is always one of my favourite styling options as it looks ultra sleek, and feels very modern too. I like tops with unexpected features and this long sleeved top feels on trend with the cut out and ruching detail. Both pieces are also going to be easy to work back with existing pieces in my wardrobe, so have definitely been a worthwhile addition to my closet.

I’ve had this Acler dress for a season or two and the silhouette stills feels quite up to date and fresh, so I wear it quite often. It’s an easy outfit to pull together when I need to get out the door fast but also have a few appointments on the cards. This mini bag by Strathberry has also been getting quite the workout over the last few months. For such a diminutive bag, its quite the workhorse.

This wasn’t technically an outfit from this week but I had to share as this was when Sophia and I went to the Harry Styles concert! I wanted to be comfy so sneakers were a must, and this monochrome Chanel pair worked back well with the black asymmetrical Dion Lee skirt. I paired both back with this green Christopher Esber top add a bit of a fashion-ey element to this look. Also, to be a kid again… loving Sophia’s colourful look!

I wore this to a dinner at the Sydney Harbour Bridge recently and it’s still going strong. I took it in a more casual direction with the addition of a pop of colour in the form of yellow Hermes slides, but brought my blazer along to pop on top to give it a polished edge.
