I loved the the laser cut trim on the skirt and the subtle split which managed to turn a simple black pencil skirt and elevate it into a great look for the evening. The silk chiffon/neoprene combination of the top was a great mix of textures and with the sprinkling of Swarovski crystals it made it the ideal piece for an event that required dressier attire. The Alaia heels have proven to be a great investment piece. I’ve worn them with multiple looks, for various occasions and they have been the perfect shoe – understated enough to be quite chameleonic and but with enough interesting detail to still allow them to make a bit of a statement.
