Welcome! I’m so excited to finally launch my blog. I have always wanted to do something like this but finding the time has just seemed impossible. Between deadlines during the day and the champagne swilling fashion events at night, any thought of dedicating hours to a blog gave me panic attacks.
To make the dream happen, as of next week I will step back from my role as The Sun-Herald Fashion Editor. I will become a freelance fashion writer and dedicate my time to this website, bringing you fashion + beauty news, trend reports and my style inspirations. And of course…. a little bit of a behind the scenes insight into my life. Don’t stress, I will continue my serial dating of celebrities in my Date With Kate column for The Sun-Herald, but expect to see more fashion here on the blog – from the runway to the race track.
After two years as the Style Editor at the Sunday Telegraph and four years as Fashion Editor at the Sun-Herald, I now realise blogging is just an extension of what I have been doing the entire time. Now that I’m a blogger, don’t expect me to linger in front of street style photographers wearing crazy hats during Fashion Week – but do expect more fun!
I’m hoping you’ll enjoy this journey that I am about to embark on, so stay tuned.
