10th July, 2017

If you’ve been feeling less than inspired by your wardrobe of late then it’s time to hit refresh and inject some new energy into your style. Scrolling through Instagram can often result in an outfit idea or two so when you’re dealing with 12 of the ‘Gram’s best looks in the one spot then you can bet that inspiration is guaranteed to strike.

This heavenly Chanel jacket does all the right things but even if you don’t have a few thousand dollars to spare to nab a similar piece you can bet that you can still source some inspiration from this look. A pair of casual cropped wide leg pants can look dressed up with the addition of a long length tailored jacket (note: anything in a gorgeous cream shade instantly looks elegant and oh-so chic).

Transition one of last summer’s most popular looks of a slip dress and white tee by swapping it for some winter appropriate variations instead. Swap the short sleeves for a long sleeved shirt and instead of a dress echo a similar silhouette with a black cami or alternatively a jumpsuit with spaghetti straps could work just as well.

If you don’t yet own a statement belt then now is the time to make it a must-have. A black belt with a bold buckle can turn a simple piece such as a denim skirt (or jeans) from good to great.

Over the knee boots are one of the popular shoe trends of the season (I live in mine) and whilst it can easily look dressed down there’s something to be said about going all out and pairing it with a dress with a strong silhouette and having a real look-at-me moment.
