What I Wore: Making the jump

21st September, 2017

There’s something about a black jumpsuit that makes a strong sartorial statement—it’s the type of piece that screams sleek and modern. Bec & Bridge’s take on the style with its strapless neckline and cropped wide leg pants has a contemporary, polished silhouette but is given a slightly more relaxed feel in the ultra on trend fabric that is linen. It’s the kind of piece that I can see becoming a versatile go-to in my wardrobe during the warmer months. I can’t resist teaming black with gold so I opted for my favourite gilded Gucci heels and and choker for a metallic touch. I kept my bag quite neutral in shade to really allow the gold accessories to shine but wanted to have a bit of fun with my choice of sunglasses so I settled on a pair of clear, round framed sunglasses by Chloe. I found they added some attitude to the look without being over the top. When the weather gets warmer I can guarantee this particular Bec & Bridge jumpsuit will be on high rotation.
