Party season is here and it’s often a great excuse to get dolled up. Enter the party dress! I love embracing a range of different styles throughout party season from the LBD to a splash of colour. What I wear is often dictated by the dress code, but I do like exploring the full spectrum of party dresses, exploring a range of silhouettes. Whether it’s a slinky, sexy fitted style or something that embraces a lot of volume or a mini hemline (take note: this is a big trend this season) it’s always fun to be able to try a range of options.
The one downside of having a range of events at this time of year is that it can get expensive. Which is why I fully endorse utilising existing pieces and changing them up. However if you’ve really got your heart set on splashing out on something new there are definitely a variety of different options out there, at various price points. I’ve done an edit of different styles, from a range of different brands (some from my fave Aussie designers) and retailers and have found some party-ready styles that all fall under the $500 mark.
So, it’s time to frock up, grab that glass of champagne and toast the festive season… all while wearing a gorgeous dress!
