Fashion, What I Wore

What I Wore: Baroque Beauty

12th August, 2020

I’ve been slowly working more spring/summer pieces into my wardrobe repertoire and it’s been such a refreshing change from jeans and jumpers! I’m loving this dress by Aussie brand Leo & Lin for myriad reasons but I couldn’t go past this gorgeous baroque print. It’s elegant in look and feel, and the intricacy of the print gives it an elevated vibe. The shirt dress silhouette also keeps it classic, while the different design features such as the sharp collar and the handkerchief hem give it a little personality. I often feel that it’s all in the detail when it comes to any ensemble and this is one style that definitely wins in that department.

Working with a black and white colour palette, I wanted to keep the theme going throughout with the rest of my accessories. So I opted for a white Bulgari Serpenti bag. A crisp white accessory adds to the sleekness of this look, but doesn’t overwhelm. While small frame Poppy Lissiman sunglasses in black add a fun feel to this look.
