One of the best things about fashion is being able to experiment with different looks and and working with interesting pieces and putting my own spin on them. The moment I saw this bustier and pants set by Christopher Esber I envisioned it being able to echo the silhouette of a suit by layering the bustier over a mesh skivvy with statement cuffs. With a little experimentation with layering I was able to completely rework the vibe of the outfit and is testament to the fact that it pays to sometimes throw unexpected combinations together as it may lead to an unexpected new look. I love the oversized buttons on the bustier as it really gives the ensemble a point of difference and adds a touch of playfulness to the edgy tailoring of the outfit. Versatility is always important to me and I love the fact that each of these pieces can work separately as cohesively as it does as a set. From top to toe it can transition from now right through to summer, becoming the lynchpin for many a different look.
