Fashion, What I Wore

What I Wore: Everest Carnival Fashion Lunch

3rd October, 2020

After the year we’ve had, it’s been so nice to get back to familiar things. I was able to be back trackside again with my 7 Racing family and couldn’t have been more thrilled. I was at the Everest Carnival Lunch at Royal Randwick today and truly loved the opportunity to do event dressing again.

I went for this polished suit by Oroton, because I will welcome any chance to wear a suit these days! The relaxed double breasted cut of the blazer, worked back with cropped tailored trousers was elegant but in such a light and bright hue it was the ideal spring look.

When it comes to race day outfits accessories are key to truly finishing off an ensemble. So I went with a pair of white Louboutin pumps with a polished vibe—something that always works beautifully with suiting. My headpiece was a Nerida Winter wide brimmed straw hat with an elegant statement bow and face veil, had a simple, yet striking look and feel. While a Dior shoulder bag with chain strap added a bold touch. And I couldn’t have been more thrilled to wear a selection of stunning pieces from Chaumet, the pearl drop earrings, and accompanying ring and necklace helped elevate this look into something truly special.
