I’m incredibly lucky to be gifted some beautiful things in my job and this new gem from the Gucci Bamboo 1947 line is my latest obsession. As far as bags go this one is a definite keeper — it’s a great size for when I want to travel with just the essentials but level up my outfit, plus the structured style and the decorative bamboo handle make it a standout. Also in a patent black, it’s the kind of thing that can add a fun touch to any outfit, dressy or casual.
In this instance I decided to go Gucci all the way with this dress from their current new season line. The lace finish gives a great textural finish while the classic Gucci two tone featured on the collar add a sporty touch. It’s a nice balance between the two and helps this maxi dress with all its intricacies from becoming a little too fussy — the collar gives it a more relaxed feel making it perfect for dressing up and down. A pair of black, strappy peep toe heels were the ideal finishing touch, complementing the bag and tying the whole look together.
