Fashion, What I Wore

What I wore this week

2nd March, 2023

It’s officially the first week of autumn but the wear has still been quite warm in Sydney so I’ve been able to have most of my fave summer pieces still in rotation. That said, I’m really cultivating a love affair with tailored pants and will continue to do so seemingly into the coming months as I’m wearing them so often. Also I’ve brought out a few of my fave accessories to help round out my looks this week, including a trusty classic Gucci bag and my fave sunnies. Here’s what I wore this week.

Loving sets for easy, polished options on busy days. This set by Foemina has a relaxed vibe to it with the tunic and slim pants, but can be taken in different directions with a change in footwear. I went for super casual in this instance with the Birkenstocks but I could wear this look with a dressier sandal for something more elevated. Also, anything loose and airy is perfect for combatting the sticky heat we’ve been experiencing in Sydney.

My sartorial commitment to tailored pants continues. Camilla and Marc have been doing some gorgeous suiting inspired pieces, such as these pants. I always feel put together when I wear them, but it’s comfy enough to wear casually. The chunky sandal has become my go-to of late, and these shearling lines ones have been a fun, fashion forward addition to most of my looks.

Told you I loved a matching set! This raspberry coloured top and shorts by Bondi Born is the perfect pairing, and is a great option for doing the school run, while also being appropriate for when I need to look a little more dressed up. Both pieces are also easily worn separately so they’re a great wardrobe addition.

As we head into autumn, and the cooler weather it will bring, I’ve been stocking up on pants to have in rotation and this pair by Viktoria and Woods is definitely in the mix. I’ve had them for awhile and have really given them a workout, as I wear them most weeks, plus I packed them when I went overseas as testament to how wearable they are. I wore another great chunky sandal by Camilla and Marc (they’ve got some great footwear styles right now) to anchor the look and give it a trend element, while a classic Gucci shoulder bag and black sunnies add a touch of polish. Also, shout out to this Uniqlo tee—so comfy, so durable and a great shape.
