Whilst a buttery soft leather bag is a beautiful thing I also like experimenting with different handbag styles to change up the look and feel of an outfit. One trend I’m really loving at the moment is the basket bag. Incorporating natural textures into a look adds a relaxed vibe and makes for an unexpected accent when paired with dressier ensembles.
I’ve favoured the top handle style the most as I like it’s classic feel but there are plenty of other options from crossbody versions to a chic simple clutch. Also look out for interesting pairings such as wicker and resin which makes for a thoroughly modern accessory that’s punchy and cool.
Whilst the basket bag has been popping up on many a winter look, be prepared to see it everywhere come spring/summer.
