It’s been a few weeks since this event but I was able to rock a number of amazing spring/summer looks that I definitely wanted to share. Now’s the time to plan what you’re going to be wearing over the next few months after all. Hamilton Island Race Week is an event I look forward to every year. It’s a great time to catch up with colleagues and friends, spend time at the beautiful Qualia Resort in Hamilton Island and just appreciate island life. Here’s a look at what I packed on my trip.
This set is so much fun. I am really loving how the range of beach/pool cover ups has been really stepped up over the past few years. Matching sets are such a practical thing to bring on a trip as they always look polished but are so easy to wear as separates. This shirt and shorts set by Eres worked perfectly with the strapless khaki swimsuit, which is one of my fave things to do whenever I’m holidaying somewhere warm. A one piece can double as a bodysuit when it’s not doing swimsuit duty and I love that it means one less thing to pack. These vibrant yellow slides added a pop of colour and a fun element to this look.

Out for drinks and catching up with Mode Sportif founder Deborah Symond O’Neil. I have become such a huge fan of the brand Sir the Label, as they do such beautiful polished and understated pieces. I love the graphic elements on this chocolate brown set as it really allows the look to pop. I paired it with white Aje heels and statement earrings, for a vibrant event look.

I wore this to a Paspaley lunch where the dress code was white and think it fit the brief quite well! I’m always a fan of an all white look as it always looks so fresh and polished. This set is also by Sir the Label (I told you I was a fan) and loved the unexpected pairing of a wrap top with a maxi skirt. My Aje heels got another workout, and a cute Apede Mod bag which is something I’ve found to work so easily with so many different looks.
