Is there anything more fun than wearing anything in a bubble gum pink? I’m a huge fan of the colour for its playful and feminine vibe so I was immediately sold on this midi dress by Steele. Not only is a midi length frock the right balance of classic and polished, the rest of the design with its rolled cuffs, cinched waist and oversized pockets is right on trend and gives it a slightly more edgy feel.
With a dress such as this I think it’s only fitting to let the colour do the talking. Whilst I wanted accessories that still popped, I didn’t want it to compete too much with the main attraction so I kept to a similar colour palette with a metallic pink Bvlgari bag. A pair of classic Tods loafers added a dressy touch, with the shoes also offering a nice contrast the feminine vibe of my ensemble.
When it comes to playing with colour I think vibrant shades are always a great way to lift an outfit and make a statement. And how can you go wrong when such a fun hue is involved?
