What I Wore: Sea Change

13th July, 2021

Sydney’s back in lockdown so I’ve been revisiting some of my favourite polished casual looks for work from home days. This particular outfit is one of my go-to outfit formulas. I don’t think you can ever go wrong with a white shirt and jeans, but you can always do a fun riff on it. Case in point: the cute under the sea print of this Alemais blouse. The marine-inspired embroidery adds a fun touch to this ensemble, while the billowy sleeves give it an on trend, feminine feel. A winning combination when paired with classic denim. These Slvrlake jeans are just the right high waisted style that makes for a comfy outfit option to be able to spend the day in, but they’re a flattering silhouette and are great when paired with a tucked in shirt or tee.

I’m keeping accessories to a minimum, because well, you don’t really many accoutrements to go from one’s kitchen to the living room but I always like to add a little something to finish off my outfit. I’ve always been an accessory girl through and through, so I went for a simple timepiece and my fave cuff and bracelet. It helped give my look a polished vibe and helped me feel a little more put together. It’s all about the little things, and for me, that includes feeling happy and comfortable in what I’m wearing.
