What I Wore: Teddy Bear, Teddy Bear

9th July, 2019

Whenever winter rolls around I’m always on the hunt for a fun coat to update my look. This season the teddy coat is well and truly having a moment and no wonder — who wouldn’t want to cosy up in one on a cold day? I’ve seen various iterations of the teddy from a bomber to a jacket but this oversized style by UK brand Ducie was perfect for working back with my wardrobe. I love the fact that it looks a little relaxed making it ideal for days when I’m out and about, especially when I’m hanging out with the kids. Also the beige colour makes it the ultimate fashion chameleon.

I’m a big believer in the forever stylish combination of a white tee with jeans and it’s just the right kind of understated look to work back with such a bold coat. This tee by Uniqlo is a great fit and and at such an affordable price, and considering how often I use white t-shirts, it’s definitely been a bargain as it holds up really well to constant wear. High waisted jeans are one of my favourite cuts and this pair by Ksubi are just the right fit. I’ve found them to be a great go-to style as straight leg jeans can tend to swamp a petite frame but this pair are just the right amount of baggy. Worked back with simple white All Birds trainers (which are so unbelievably light and comfortable by the way) and a little designer touch in the form of my Prada crossbody/top handle bag, my casual uniform is complete. And armed with a teddy coat, I was warm and cosy the entire day whilst still looking on trend.
