What I wore this week

4th March, 2021

It may have been the first week of autumn but it was the perfect weather for squeezing in some last minute wear of some of my fave summer pieces. Dresses were on high rotation while I embraced a cute little Venroy set and some vibrant shades to celebrate some the warm weather in Sydney.

I had to take my little ballerina to her ballet lesson, so it was the ideal time to wear this sunny yellow dress again. A vibrant hue, and pared back accessories were the ideal combination to lift my mood for the day.

I scaled the colour right back on this day and went for an black dress, with fun details—blouson sleeves and a tiered skirt give this look a little extra personality. While my black sandals and my fave straw bag were the final finishing touches. Simplicity at its best.

I was doing a day of filming for ATC so it required a race day look. This Camilla and Marc dress is just perfection, and I had been looking for the opportunity to wear it so it was the first piece that came to mind. It’s got such a flattering silhouette, plus the tie details on the sleeves and the belted waist, are the ideal finishing touches. A lilac Nerida Winter headband provided a great contrast element and splash of colour.

This pinstripe set by Venroy is just the most fun pairing. I love the clash of thin and thick stripes and the rust colour feels really modern and fresh. It was sandals and a straw bag all the way for this look. And I’d like to add that these sandals and bag have both been such a great investment pre-summer. I have worn them to death!

Work meeting day so it called for a polished business casual look. I always find that jeans can easily be dressed up with the simple addition of a blazer, but in this instance I went for a pastel yellow just to keep it light and fun. White slingbacks and a white Bulgari bag, added some fresh elements while helping to round out the whole ensemble.
