Fashion, What I Wore

What I Wore: Walking on Sunshine

16th February, 2021

There’s something about the universally uplifting feeling of yellow that is always guaranteed to put in me in a great mood, so when it comes in the form of an Aje dress, I’m all about it. I’ve been in love with the Aje aesthetic for quite sometime, and I’m particularly a fan of their bold, puff sleeves and cut out detail, which both feature on this dress. This is the ultimate in summer dresses as it scream sunshine and fun times.

Whenever I’m wearing bold hues I always like to keep my accessories quite simple to really let the colour do its job, and that’s to be the focal point of an outfit. So in this instance, I went for an ultra adorable mini Gucci hobo bag. I love the Jackie mini style as I can wear it as a top handle bag but it also comes with a strap so I can wear it as a crossbody bag, which means extra versatility—something that’s important to me when it comes to anything designer. For the finial finishing touches it was sleek and classic black, with my Bottega Veneta heels, and tortoiseshell sunglasses by Le Specs to cap off the look.
