What’s on my shopping wish list

21st February, 2020

I always love compiling this post throughout the month as it reflects my mood and where my head is at as far as my wardrobe goes. It’s transseasonal weather time which means that I’m still halfway between doing super summery clothes and accessories while I’m also already looking ahead to autumn. That said, I’ve managed to come upon some really great buys this month, namely modern pieces that have a glam touch. This is what’s caught my eye this month…

Barely There Sandal, Aje

I’m really loving minimalist shoes with the most delicate of straps and a streamlined silhouette right now. They’re great for working back with several pieces in my wardrobe, and this rust coloured pair by Aje is a real winner.

Printed Underwired Swimsuit, Fendi

I am a beach girl through and through so I am always on the hunt for great swimmers. This one piece swimsuit by Fendi is super glam and could easily be transformed into a bodysuit worn back with a skirt or pants.

Artistic Senses Smock, Joanna Ortiz

The beautiful earthy colour, smocking and puffed sleeves all work together to make this top a must-have. I can see myself wearing it casually or at work so it’s a winner on both fronts.

Banksia Panel Shirt, Aje

The sheer panelling gives this shirt a real point of difference. Contrasted with the voluminous sleeves and collar, it’s a modern take on the button down shirt.

Embossed Leather Shoulder Bag, Fendi

A classic design, the gorgeous logo embossing and chain strap make this Fendi bag one that’s definitely bookmarked for future events. I love a bag with a bit of personality but isn’t over the top so I can wear it on multiple occasions.

Vallena Sequin-Embellished Suede Mules, Jacquemus

How gorgeous is the heel on this shoe? I love its sculptural look and the fact that it really gives such a simple design a major lift. The pink shade is also so fun and adds the perfect pop of colour to an outfit.

The Breeze Studs, Aje

Earrings are an easy way to transform the look and feel of an outfit. These gold studs are such a great way to make a statement and the colour is easily worked back with many an ensemble

Embossed Leather Shoulder Bag, Fendi

Logomania is still going strong so you can imagine why this little gem stopped me in my tracks. Love the classic Fendi colour palatte and the logo embossing and gold hardware really give it some drama.

Paperbark Pintuck Shirt, Aje

A woman can never have enough white shirts in her wardrobe. I particularly love the pintucks and statement cuffs, not to mention the mutton leg sleeves on this Aje shirt. Perfect for enhancing any autumn/winter outfit but still maintaining the timeless vibe of white shirting.
