This week, my wardrobe was largely about dressing for comfort, while embracing a few hits of colour. It’s always funny seeing how my looks pan out during the week as there are definitely times where I can see a pattern emerging. The last few days have been about utilising some of the most comfortable pieces in my wardrobe and adding some extra fun accents, with a bold hue here and a striking accessory there. With the unpredictable weather we’ve been having of late, I’ve also been going from cardis one minute to strappy tops the next, but I do appreciate that with this wide variation in temperature, I’m able to embrace all aspects of my wardrobe a whole lot longer.
When autumn rolls around I love slowly introducing knits into my wardrobe, and what better way to start than with a hit of vibrant pink. Cosy cardis are always my go-tos and this new season style by Steele is the perfect way to inject a bit of fun into an outfit. With its button through front and balloon sleeves, not to mention the mix of various textures, it’s a statement piece with a playful vibe. I wanted to layer pink on pink with this Manning Cartell cami with halterneck detail, and with so much colour I pared it back with these classic straight leg jeans by Viktoria and Woods.

A busy day ahead means comfort is high on my list. So, I styled these Ena Pelly pants with a different vibe from last week’s pairing with a knitted jumper and instead paired them with a sleeveless tee with shoulder pads by Good American. I went with a tonal colour palette, working with earthy hues and using neutrals as accent pieces for a look that’s high on effortless style.

I got all dressed up on this day with this beige combination that’s anything but boring. This one shoulder top with oversized balloon sleeve makes for a standout feature piece, but worked back with pintuck pants, it helps to balance the more dramatic feel of the top. I often find that wearing similar shades in one outfit works to create a really bold effect, while adding textural pieces like my shearling trimmed Jacquemus bag and mesh Bottega Veneta heels add a layer of depth.

I adore this top by Viktoria and Woods. It’s such a beautifully feminine design and the cornflower blue is such a great shade. I wore this back with denim on this day, but I’ve also paired it with crisp white pants and it works just as well. I always like to add slightly punchier pieces to a look when I’m wearing jeans, and in this instance it was all about a bright pink and red Gucci bag. I wore white flats for comfort but it’s a great style to work back wiht a slightly tapered jean.
