Fashion, What I Wore

What I wore this week

24th March, 2022

Presenting… another week in my wardrobe. I got to play dress ups with some truly incredible frocks this week, interspersed with my fave way to dress: comfortably with a healthy dose of polish. I rediscovered some favourite outfit combinations, worked a few new pieces into the mix and elevated them all with an injection of bold accessories. I love compiling this diary because I always inevitably find myself filled with ideas for other looks—hope it does the same for you!

Love a collab that’s full of standout pieces and this Ellery x Witchery pairing is definitely that. This top and pants combination in the camel hue feels so modern and on trend, plus I like the fact both pieces can be worn separately but together they kinda have a jumpsuit vibe! I paired this look with black Bottega Veneta heels and a Chanel backpack for a polished feel and small frame Poppy Lissiman sunglasses to cap it off.

Louis Vuitton definitely delivers the goods with this LWD. The simple silhouette and drop waist, the A-line skirt and the martingale feature on the skirt combined, give this dress I wore while on reporting duties at the races an ultra elegant feel. I went for a few bolder pieces to accessorise, including this gold Fendi clutch which added a pop of colour and sky high Jimmy Choo platform heels.

I have this outfit formula bookmarked under eternal classics. You can’t go wrong with a trench paired with denim. This Marks and Spencer trench is the perfect hue, cut and style to pair back with multiple looks, while these Levi’s jeans, which I’ve had for a few years prove once again how worthy a purchase they are–they just go with everything. I opted for a few more classic pieces to accessorise with including black Tod’s loafers, a Louis Vuitton Speedy and black sunglasses.

I love layering neutrals for a smart casual look. This cream jumper and wide leg, lightweight Ena Pelly pants are just the thing for transseasonal weather. I went for white thongs to tie into the neutral effect, while my black Prada bag added a utilitarian touch and is a great size for all my essentials.

I attended a launch for jewellery brand, Fred and it required a killer look. Who else to turn to but Aje who delivered a dreamy party dress that’s got a beautiful textural effect. The pleats in this dress are gorgeous. I wanted the dress to do all the talking so I went for a pair of heels with the sleekest of silhouettes, and added a little sparkle in the form of some standout jewellery.
