I’ve had a love affair with sunglasses for as long as I can remember. They’re one of my favourite ways to finish a look and are also an easy way to change up my outfit’s look and feel. I’ve always liked trying different brands from designer to up-and-coming labels, and over the years I’ve experimented with a few designs and have found that there are three types of sunglasses styles I always come back to…
Cat eye sunglasses
I’ve always liked this classic style. I like their vintage feel and have always found the shape to be quite flattering. They’re bold without being too over the top and I’ve found that gives them a lot of versatility.

Statement frames
From vibrant colours to patterns I always find myself gravitating towards sunglasses that have a striking element. Whether it’s the shape, embellishment or bold shades, I’m always on board with any eyewear that can elevate an outfit and hold its own.

Minimalist metal
I love a low profile, metal frame when it comes to sunglasses. I’ve got them in a pair of oval Ray Ban sunnies and a new geometric looking pair by Vehla and both are constantly in rotation. They’re easy to pair with different looks and they add some edge too.

Classic black
I’ve got a few go-to black frames in my collection because they’re such an easy option for a variety of different occasions. I prefer a chunky black style which makes a statement but always maintains a polished feel.
