Fashion, What I Wore

What I wore this week

10th February, 2022

It’s always fun reflecting on outfits past and I always either find a new combination to love or it sparks an idea on how to style it in a different way. This week it’s been another mixed week in terms of what I needed on the outfit front. I’ve gone from workout gear one minute to dressed up for a meeting the next. The constant is that a few old faves are still going strong (my Bottega Veneta heels for one thing) and pieces that have just entered the picture are slowly proving themselves to have the ability to revamp my existing wardrobe. Here’s what I wore this week.

Comfy playsuits for the win! This little number is a handy go-to on those days when I want something that is ultra comfortable yet still looks put together. The burgundy is a great hue for spring/summer and the shirt style top and cinched waist are really flattering. I paired it my fave Prada bucket bag for the ideal comfy casual ensemble.

I can’t resist a matching set when it comes to working out. There’s something quite motivating about wearing something cute when you’re training and this matching top and leggings is a new fave. The coco hue is also such an unexpected hue in exercise gear, and paired with black sneakers and a crossbody Furla bag, I was ready to go straight from my workout to coffee.

These tailored pants have been such a worthy new addition to my wardrobe. I’ve found them to be so versatile and I can easily dress them up or down. I’ve worn these pants twice this week and each time I’ve been able to change up the vibe with just a change in what I pair it with. On this day I went for something a bit more casual with a tie dye tank and thongs—ultra comfy with on trend elements.

Here are the pants again! I was able to take them in a different direction by simply changing the kind of top I wore and popping on heels. I adore this top. The cornflower blue is such a pretty shade and the halter style and ribbed fabric is such a great combination. I wore it in a dressy way on this occasion but I could easily pair it with jeans or shorts and it could be more off duty appropriate. These mesh Bottega Veneta heels are such an interesting statement shoe and I always find they really elevate an outfit.
