Fashion, What I Wore

What I wore working from home

11th June, 2020

The MVPs of my winter wardrobe are slowly presenting themselves as I find myself gravitating towards certain pieces time after time. I’ve been trying to find that line between feeling and looking polished while working from home, and still being comfortable. I think it’s a work in progress, but I’m loving experimenting with different silhouettes and colours. But above all, I’m finding denim still very much rules in my wardrobe…

Jeans and a white tank— you can’t really every go wrong with a combination such as this. This forms the basis for many a look for me as I can easily throw on a jumper or a blazer and it can instantly change up the vibe of the outfit, but also add a touch of polish. I’m loving relaxed denim silhouettes right now, and this pair by Camilla and Marc is really comfy.

These Levis jeans are the best wash—they look vintage and are easily paired with different top styles, and also pair well with most hues. Loving this button down knit by Viktoria and Woods as it has the look of a shirt, but the comfort factor of a knit.

I am seriously loving Aje at the moment, particularly this top (which I’ve also got in black—see below!). Love the voluminous silhouette which works great with a more streamlined pant. I’ve found it works really well with a statement coat, and simple white pumps help finish off the look.

The hue of this Aje skirt is such a good shade for winter. It’s the perfect pop of colour to add a little more energy to a winter look, plus worked back with a black smock top, it looks polished. I also like the fact that I can take this look into spring, which definitely betters the cost per wear of this look.
