Fashion, What I Wore

What I wore working from home

4th June, 2020

The first week of winter called for experimenting with lots of my favourite new winter looks, including some great new statements pieces I can see livening up many an outfit. I’m slowly easing back into my regular routine with school drop offs happening again, and work commitments too, so my current work from home wardrobe, also has to include a few visits to the outside world, and some polish for when I need to pop out for a meeting or just jump on a Zoom call. Here are a few of my current favourite pieces, and my looks working from home this week.

I wore this shirt in white the other week and fell in love with it so much I knew I needed it in another colour (one of the best things to do when you find a style you really, really like, is to get it in different colours). It’s a smock style so it’s super comfy and looks great tucked into jeans.

I’m starting to totally rethink loungewear as more than just an at home thing. I kept seeing pics of tracksuits paired with long coats and thought I’d try it with this Camilla and Marc set and this checked Viktoria and Woods coat to provide some contrast. I’m thinking it’s definitely going to become a fave!

So working from home has its advantages in that I don’t have to dress to battle the cold temperatures outside! Tucked away in my cosy office, I opted for this colourful look pairing this raspberry skirt and pink blazer by Aje, with a skivvy by Uniqlo.

I’m loving the slightly more relaxed look of jeans I’ve seen of late and these baggy jeans by Camilla and Marc are so unbelievably comfy. I paired it with a studded belt to give it some shape and add a little accent piece to give it a bit of a lift. This top by Bec and Bridge has been such a staple in my wardrobe. I’ve found so many different outfits to wear it with and is such a great little multi-purpose top.
