Heading out on a picnic has very much become the social occasion of late, particularly in Sydney where at the moment, it’s one of the few ways we can socialise. So, it’s definitely become a great excuse to get dressed up and rock a new look, because let’s face it, we’re all looking for any reason to wear something that doesn’t involve activewear or a tracksuit. I love loungewear as much as the next person but sometimes you just want to get all dolled up!
Given the glorious spring weather, it’s a great time to embrace bold prints, pretty dresses and cute accessories to liven up a look. In doing this edit, I’ve pulled together pieces to suit whatever your picnic attire preference—whether you’re after comfy and cool such as shorts and an oversized button down, or a fun and flirty frock, there’s definitely something here that you’ll want to wear when you’re enjoying the company of friends and basking in the sun in the great outdoors. While you’ve got your outfit sorted, don’t forget about your accessories! It’s the perfect time to embrace a bold pair of sunglasses or a playful tote.
