I was on reporting duties for 7 Racing again for Longines Queen Elizabeth Stakes Day at Sydney’s Royal Randwick. Today was all about this amazing Louis Vuitton dress. While the silhouette is classic and understated, what I love about it is the detail and colour that elevates it into something more. The blue and white colour palette, with the oversized LV monogram adds a bold touch to this look, while the oversized full length zipper makes for a modern finish.
It’s autumn racing time which means straw hats are in hibernation and it’s all about rich textures such as felt. This hat by Helen Kaminski was perfect for the day, but what I love is that it’s such a sleek design that I could easily wear it out and about during winter. As far as accessorising for this look, I knew I wanted to add another punchy colour to avoid it getting lost within the striking features of the dress, and this pink bag by Bulgari seemed just the right fit. Then to cap of my look I opted for minimalist Stuart Weitzman heels to avoid any busyness from overtaking the look and feel of the dress.

The girls are on school holidays so this means lots of comfort dressing as I’ve got to keep up with two very active kids. That said, I did have a few events dotted throughout the week which gave me the opportunity to try a few new pieces in my closet. Here’s what I wore this week.
We took the girls to the Sydney Royal Easter Show which meant loads of walking, going on rides and getting up close and personal with animals so I went for something ultra comfortable. A simple monochrome colour palette, paired with on trend but made for walking sandals, and a backpack to go hands-free and I was set.

Wore this to a Jets launch and loved the opportunity to do resortwear, as the event was held on a boat. I’m really into the whole swimsuit worn as bodysuit vibe, and paired with wide leg pants and comfy sandals this whole look had me feeling like I was back in Italy (if only!), soaking up the sun. I decided to glam it up a little with some statement jewellery by Aje and Amber Sceats.
Work out day and it was the perfect opportunity to wear this matching set by Running Bare. I’m really into the sage green hue, and there’s something about wearing a co-ordinated look that leaves me extra inspired to go hard in my training session.

I ordered these jeans from Shopbop recently and it’s been a great addition to my denim collection as they’re just the perfect blue hue to be paired back with so many things in my closet. This Cult Gaia top with the cut-out is becoming a firm favourite and is a great way to do the classic combination of jeans and a white top. My black Bottega heels doing their thing again because I love them so much.
It was quite a jam packed week this week. I had meetings, big launches, fittings and interstate travel locked into my schedule so I got to work with the full spectrum of my wardrobe. It was comfy singlets one minute, to suiting the next—so I was able to really embrace high-low dressing, and experiment with some new pairings. Here’s what I wore this week.
Off to a few meetings in this ultra comfortable, yet polished look. I am really loving relaxed pants worked back with a tank, it’s such an easy, failsafe outfit template to use, particularly when I don’t have time to fuss around too much with my look.
Attending the ATC launch with my mum and sister-in-law called for something feminine and bright. It was love at first sight for this Joanna Ortiz dress, particularly the print.
I wore this look to my niece’s birthday dinner, as I wanted to wear something that wasn’t too fussy, yet had polish. Denim worked back with a shirt and flats is one of my fave go-to looks as I love it’s classic, sophisticated feel.

I was having fittings for the David Jones parade at the Melbourne Fashion Festival and it was all about this dreamy Aje dress. It’s such a great silhouette with the bodice-like ruching and the puff sleeves. So much fun.
I have been loving the swimsuit-worn-as-bodysuit look for quite awhile, so I definitely fell for this Venroy bodysuit immediately. It looks so great worn with jeans, and paired with sandals it has a great resortwear meets casual wear vibe about it.
This was another fitting I was having for the Melbourne Fashion Festival. I just love the hue of this suit, and the tapered pant worn with oversized blazer. It just has an effortless feel to it which I enjoy.
On my way to the airport! Jumping on a plane just seems like such a foreign concept, that I had to reacquaint myself with what comfy, travel attire is all about. I ended up doing another iteration of my earlier Venroy bodysuit look, but I swapped some accessories out for my fave comfy sandals, and a backpack for the ultimate in hands-free travel.
The weather has been a bit up and down in Sydney this week, so it called for a plethora of different looks to cater for varying temperatures. I went from a swimsuit one minute to my fave denim the next, so it was a great exercise in being able to really delve into the various areas of my closet. Here’s what I wore this week.
One of my new fave things to do is rework a swimsuit into a bodysuit. It’s a great way to extend the wear of my swimmers and I love the versatility of being able to utilise existing pieces in different ways. I wore this great Viktoria and Woods textured swimsuit with cropped jeans, and sandals for a sleek summer look.

Being out and about as a mum means comfort is key. I love dresses for this very thing because not only are they comfortable, it’s also a great way to achieve a polished effect with minimal fuss. I wore this black Camilla and Marc dress with simple black sandals (side note: these are the comfiest sandals in my closet right now) for the ultimate in sleek and simple outfits.

This was at a press day for the All Star Mile so it was a great excuse to get frocked up. This is one of Aje’s signature silhouettes and it’s such a great look in a sky blue shade. I wore this with white Bottega Veneta pumps, and a white bag for my take on daytime elegance.
All black on this particular day. These Aje jeans worked back with a padded, sleeveless tee and sandals helped me to do a comfy look without compromising on style. Plus, the great thing is all these pieces separately work back with so many other things in my closet. Plus the addition of a classic straw bag helped to soften this look and give it a more feminine touch.
Who else is finding it hard to get back into the swing of things post-Christmas? I’ve been easing myself back into it, but it’s still been a mixture of work, spending time with the girls during the school holidays and the generally trying to settle into routine again.
So needless to say my outfit repertoire has been quite mixed. I’ve gone from family mornings at the beach, to time in front of my laptop to general errand running and it’s allowed me to bring out a few fave pieces but also incorporate some new favourites into the mix.
I love comfy looks at the beach and this has become my go-to because it’s so easy and effortless. The pants and top can be worn separately too, making them really versatile. While this straw hat is a must as it offers great protection from the sun. I’ve been using this straw bag as my carryall all summer, and I love its versatility as it works just as well at the beach as it does out to lunch. A pair of sunnies is the perfect finishing look.

I felt like wearing something sleek on this day so a black dress it was. I kept the rest of the look quite simple, with sandals and my fave LV backpack. An all black look can sometimes look flat so I added statement gold jewellery to give my outfit a little lift.

It’s the first time in many, many years that I won’t be at Flemington for Melbourne Cup but I’m still adamant about embracing the spirit of the event from home. So I was thrilled to host the Melbourne Cup Carnival Sydney launch at Vaucluse House this week. It was one of those special events where so many wonderful women were in the same room, and I had the opportunity to interview my mum—a great day in the office!
I wanted to wear something that was quite feminine, and this printed dress by Louis Vuitton was the ideal option. Vibrant colours and a beautiful floral print were a great option on a day where the weather was quite dreary in Sydney—I always believe what you wear can really lift your spirits. What I loved most about this dress were the finishes. The pleated bib detail, and the statement cuffs and button detail elevated the dress. The A-line skirt was a nod to 60s styling and the voluminous sleeves added a touch of drama.
I managed to find the perfect headband by Ford Millinery. The various shades in the floral design picked up the different shades in the dress, linking the two pieces well. While I had the opportunity to once again wear some beautiful pieces by Chaumet. The cocktail ring was the ideal accoutrement to help finish off this look, and it also picked up the gold of my mini LV bag. When it comes to event wear, I’ve always. liked having fun with my bags and metallics are such a good way to add a little depth. Streamlined, strappy shoes by Tony Bianco helped finish off this look, adding an on-trend element to accompany the more classical elements of this ensemble.

A gorgeous spring day calls for a riot of colour—particularly when it comes in the form of a gorgeous Louis Vuitton dress. I was on reporting duties for 7 Racing again today at the Moët & Chandon Spring Champion Stakes Day and I decided to go for something bold and vibrant. With such a striking print and eye-catching hues, it was made for a day at the races. I also loved the 60s silhouette, with the finishing details really elevating the dress. The waist belt, Peter Pan collar and blouson sleeves give the modern print, a more classic feel.
While the dress definitely does most of the heavy lifting with this look, the accessories tie it all together. I kept the Louis Vuitton thread going, opting for a diminutive lemon yellow bag and classic white pumps by the brand. While my headpiece was simple yet impactful—a crisp white padded headband by Nerida Winter.
Jewellery is always important, being the final finishing flourish. I was lucky enough to wear some beautiful pieces by Chaumet today, while an elegant man-style timepiece by Jaeger LeCoultre helped balance the soft, feminine feel of my entire ensemble.
The midi skirt is often one of those pieces that can seem tricky to wear at first but it’s a style that’s quickly become a staple of my wardrobe. This cream skirt by Camilla and Marc is an ideal piece for winter because it’s such a great textural piece to work with, and adds a little depth to a cool weather look. I also love the simple yet elegant seam detail which just adds a point of interest.
While beige could easily work back with so many different hues, I wanted to keep things quite tonal and work with a neutral colour palette. This slimline turtleneck was the perfect option to work back with the skirt, helping to balance the proportions of this look. I also appreciate small, yet impactful finishing touches and I particularly like the white piping on this top which helps lift it and avoid it looking flat.
Ankle boots are a tried and tested winter staple and I had the perfect pair in mind. These Louis Vuitton boots helped ground the look, and the monogram adds a fun touch. I wanted to keep the logo theme going and opted for a Louis Vuitton Speedy with an oversized monogram. It’s a slightly different vibe to the classic LV logo and has a slightly more modern feel. I always finish a look with sunglasses and these small frame Poppy Lissiman sunnies add a fierce and funky touch.

It’s quite fitting that this dress by Leo & Lin is called Serenity, because it has a quiet, understated elegance about it. Linen dresses usually evoke a more relaxed vibe, so I like the fact that this dress incorporates such strong finishes. From the buttons on the cuffs and sleeves to the double belting it takes it in a whole different direction and elevates it. I decided to embrace the sheer quality and pair it with underwear that’s allowed to peek through ever so slightly, but it could easily be worn with a slip for a more modest look.
Whenever I’m wearing something that has a more feminine vibe, I like to experiment with strong accessories. Think bold silhouettes, colour or statement features and in this instance I went for ankle boots to help ground the look and provide contrast to the floaty feel of the dress. I also went for a white satchel to work with the hue of the dress, while a pair of slimline Valentino sunglasses, also of the same shade helped finish off the look.

I’m embracing different denim shapes this season and it’s all about straight leg jeans. This grey pair by Nobody denim is a great way to freshen up a look by incorporating a different alternative to the classic blue wash into the mix. Relaxed denim silhouettes have become my go-to this winter as they can instantly revamp an existing look, and give it a more modern, on trend feel.
Denim is such a great blank canvas to work with and such an easy one to pair with a multitude of different pieces. I wore this back with a simple white tank (because you can’t ever go wrong with jeans styled with a white top) and popped on a teddy bear coat by Camilla and Marc to add a textural element to my ensemble.
When it comes to accessories I opted to keep things in a similar colour family and keep this look quite tonal. I opted for a pair of monogram Louis Vuitton boots and a metallic bronze backpack. Both work back well with the hue of the coat, while still lifting my overall outfit.
